MAC utilizes interactive technology in order to engage and include students in the overall learning experience during an assembly presentation. For example, students can type spontaneous answers to proposed questions about concepts using a blue tooth keyboard while sitting in the audience and everyone else in the audience can see their response on a large projector screen which has a diagonal length of about 14 feet. Students can also be periodically called up to the stage set to use a mouse pen on an interactive Promethean ACTIVboard whiteboard in connection with the keynote speaker's message throughout the assembly. Also, videos will be shown in connection with motivational-related topics and then subsequently expounded on as the assembly experience progresses. The ultimate goal for incorporating interactive multimedia technologies into our assemblies is for the purpose of engaging students to the degree that they are inspired and able to collaborate and, therefore, learn during dynamic and relevant experiences which we are privileged to facilitate.
